PARIS 10/02 - 10/08/08
Paris
is a beautiful city with so many cute districts, streets and shops. Great history that you can learn in many museums.
I had the opportunity to visit Paris for 6 amazing days. Originally it was a project journey of my school. Although we had a lot of fun by taking photos, sight seeing tours, enchanting views from the Eiffel Tower or just from the district Montmatre at noon and night.
So we were about 13 persons. Two teachers, 10 girls and one poor boy... haha
Our hotel was in the district Place d'Italie, Rue Le Brun. It was in front of a building lot and another location. Every day began at 5am woken up by the sweet noise of a jackhammer.
Each day we walked about 100000000000s of miles and did a lot other things that made us quite tired. When going back to hotel at about 10-11pm we always wanted to go to bed immediately. When possible we watched movies cause we could not go sleeping although.
At night another noise was disturbing our precious silence we needed to sleep.
So the location was Le Relax and every night they had a party in that location.........
that was no relaxing for us :)
Paris is really expensive but that didn't prevent us from going shopping. Finally we all were pretty successfull.
My favorite shopping district was Marais. I never have seen such so many cute shops where you can buy individual stuff you cannot buy somewhere else.
In Marais are living many Jews which was pretty interesting to see in all these narrow streets.
Notre Dame was incredible!! Built in 1163 and we went up to one of the two towers where we had an amazing view. The church is built in gothic style but really on the fences of the towers are strange figures that look like monsters or stuff like this.
In the shop of one tower my friend Sina and I found great swords to have a little fight. that was fun!
One of my favorite attractions was the motor scooter in red and pink. After Rome, Paris must be the city with the most motor scooters on earth. The red Vespa was cool and the pink one as well.....

Moritz and I did it. We travelled to my godmother to Munich and did the 7 hour hike. It was a wonderful day and great weather.

When we started our tour at one of so many mountains - clouds sourrounded us and we had a bad view. But I think it didn't matter, because the way was so narrow and by the way I have a little acrophobia, so I didn't need to see how cliffy it was.
The ways were full of wet stones and mud. So we had problems to hike , sorry, to climb safe.
And may I present my crew:
Ingo (husband of my godmother)
Ines and Sabine (Ingos twins, 28 years old, Sabine wears yellow, Ines red)
Oli (32 years old and boyfriend of Sabine)
and Moritz and me
So we started our tour and I wanted to keep the views up to the front and to my left and right side holding. It was so foggy we really couldn't see anything.
Here we go. We hiked and climbed up and we had a lot of fun. Oli always wanted to be the first so he hiked and climbed very fast and had the half of my problems because of his long legs.
When he was up on hills and saw us he called us and took pictures of us trying to get the best hold on those wet stones to climb up.
So as you can see the view was really bad.
After the first 3 hours we had a 'Brotzeit'. The Bavarians call a break to eat something 'Brotzeit'.
During our Brotzeit sitting on a hill up on a mountain and between mountains the weather cleared off a bit. We had a short view to valleys.
Oli and I felt like tourists in the mountains - were taking a lot of pictures :)
We hiked on, the cross on the summit of one mountain in objective.
The forward we came the worse the ways became.
Even Moritz had problems and we hiked on. Oli was so fast that we couldn't see him anymore.
Sometimes the way was splitted but Oli always painted an arrow in that mud to show us which way we had to take. haha
The surrounding was amazing. Seriously I felt like in a Lord of the Rings movie. The area looked very untouched.
And with the fog all around the feeling became stronger. :)
As you might know now Oli went ahead and stopped at once.
He said we had to look back. There would be a capricorn. We watched in the distance and saw many capricorns. But Oli wanted us look 2m away. In front of us lay a big capricorn we have never seen before. He had so big horns. We felt like in an
outside zoo and the capricorn were just sitting there pretty cool and didn't feel harassed.
After this highlight we saw many capricorns and chamoises. That was pretty exciting.
A lot of chamoises crossed our ways. Sometimes they stood in front of us and weren't scared and didn't want to move.
When we arrived at the summit of one big mountain (1800m) we took a Brotzeit and wrote our feelings in the summit book. And when we sat there eating our bread the weather really became better and we could see a lot of beautiful things.
We had luck. We spoke to many other people and they
couldn't see anything.
The way down was hard. Actually it was a litte detour to the 'Tützinger Hütte' . A cute cabin down of the mountain where we drunk and ate something again.
The last way down to the meeting point took 3 hours!!!
That was the hardest part.
Just going down. We were exhausted when we were sitting in the 'Tützinger Hütte'. And we didn't want to think about it while sitting in the cabin.
First we had to overcross a cow paddock. The cows were really cute. Were sleeping in the gras and didn't care about us.
When we finally arrived at our meeing point the only wish was taking a long and hot shower. But we had to drive 45min to our home.
I had realy luck! Could take the first shower...I was happy.
